It's been a year since STAYC's debut, and they made a lot of memories. Let's take a look back at their achievements for the past 1 year.
STAYC‘s debut song “So Bad” was smashing records with over 4,300 sales,
they have the highest first day debut sales record for any 2020 girl
group. They’re also the only 2020 rookie girl group to debut on the Bugs
real-time top 20 and the Genie real-time chart.
Despite the difficult environment to be a rookie from a new company
rather than a large agency, STAYC, a girl group belonging to a new small
medium-sized company, gained popularity as soon as they debuted and stood
tall as the next generation of Hallyu. In 2020, they ranked 1st in the
single album sales chart in the new female category, and ranked 21st on
the Billboard 'World Digital Song Sales Chart'. This is an exceptional
achievement as a rookie from a new company that does not receive support
from the existing Hallyu fandom.
